HAKA Icebreaker

HAKA Icebreaker

This weekend the Autumn International rugby matches return!

On Saturday, The Barbarians will take on the New Zealand All Blacks at Twickenham Stadium in celebration of the New Zealand Rugby Union’s 125th anniversary! What a better way to support and celebrate the All Blacks with our very own Haka Workshop!

The HAKA is an ancient Maori tribal dance, traditionally used on the battlefield, as well as when groups came together in peace. Today, the HAKA is used during ceremonies and celebrations to show the importance of the occasion, for example weddings, birthdays, funerals, or even a conference or teambuilding event?!

Here at The Teambuilding Company we believe our Haka Workshop is the perfect event for a conference icebreaker! Just as guests are getting comfortable in the conference room, they hear to roar of ‘The Call’… the loud and exciting opening chant of the lead tribesman!

Your group will experience 100% of Maori passion from our Haka Masters, some of whom are distant descendants of the original tribesman. You will be taught the words, meanings and actions of the Haka before a group performance!

The Haka Teambuilding workshop is just one of our unique and energising team icebreakers, to find out more about some of our other icebreaker events give us a call on 0800 975 0728!
