The 1st December has arrived with a cold and frosty start, marking the first day of advent. Children (and maybe some adults) all over the country will be opening the first door of their advent calendar commencing the count down to Christmas! It is likely that behind door number 1 is a little chocolate treat to get you going for the day ahead. It is a known fact that chocolate (the dark kind) can have a positive effect on your metal state for a number of reasons. First, it contains a small amount of caffeine, which has been proven to heighten mental alertness. Dark chocolate also contains magnesium, which helps you de-stress, whilst also stimulating the release of endorphin and serotonin, which make you feel good and heighten your mood.
With this in mind why not boost the mood in your team by taking part in one of our fantastic Chocolate Making Workshops. With Christmas just around the corner our Chocolate Making event can be tailored for the festive season by creating a box of chocolates with a Christmas theme, or even create their own Advent Calendar!
How does it work?
Teams are welcomed by our professional Chocolatier who will introduce the teams to chocolate and the techniques required in order to create a ganache, tempering the chocolate in order to get it to a workable consistency with it a nice shiny finish.
Under the watchful eye of the Chocolatier guests will try their hand at making their very own chocolates using milk, dark, and white chocolate accompanied by a variety of different flavourings and toppings, to create some delicious and decadent chocolate. The chocolates created will then be judged by our Chocolatier and points awarded for a number of categories including skills shown, presentation and of course, taste!
There aren’t many Teambuilding events out there that not only bring a team together to highlight communication and team work, but also allow you to eat copious amounts of chocolate whilst doing it, so why not give the team here a call and book your festive Chocolate Challenge with us now!
