The world’s top sailors will battle it out on some of the fastest sailing boats ever designed for the oldest trophy in international sport. With Sir Ben at the helm the GBR Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing team are a firm favourite for winning this year’s challenge.
Like many teams, the ‘’front facing’’ members are in the public eye and this elite team of 13 sailors on board the Land Rover multihull are no exception; however let’s not forget the 120 strong team of managers, operational staff, the boat designing team and boat builders. To ensure the success of the Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing team, the whole team will need to make sure they work effectively together to achieve their goal.
Following their success in 2016’s Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series held in Portsmouth Sir Ben Ainslie commented on the importance of working as a team “Full credit to the team and everyone back at the Camber base, we’ve got a hundred odd people there, designing and building boats and components” and “The guys did an incredible job with the boat handling…..it was a real team work day’’.
Here at The Teambuilding Company we strongly believe our team building activities create an atmosphere that encourages all team members and helps develop communication and team bonding, it’s a real chance to get to know each other in a different light and learn how to work effectively together while having fun.
Whether you choose to stay in-house and have a couple of hours partaking in our Ultimate Challenge, head to a stately home and have a go at our Country Sports event or even explore the Solent on one of our sailing yachts or ribs, we can help provide you and your team with the perfect teambuilding event.
