Autumn leaves and droplets of rain

British Summer time ends this weekend and there’s a distinct autumnal feel in the air, but unlike last year we really can’t complain about the Summer that we’ve just had. Autumn is, in fact, the busiest season for outdoor events as people come back from Summer breaks and need to gather their teams to push on for the second half of the financial year.

It’s not just the business calendar that drives the popularity of this season for team building activities. There’s something very pleasing about wrapping up warm, enjoying outdoor events, kicking the leaves around and then heading indoors to a hotel with a blazing log fire and an open bar. It’s quite exhilarating.

We have a triad of unacceptable outcomes; our guests must not become cold, wet or hungry. All of this can be avoided with proper preparation. Cold and wet is obviously a matter of making sure that everyone has the correct clothing and having adequate shelter in the form of the pop up marquees we take to every event. We can also avoid cold by having hot drinks available with the help of the hotel who can also provide food. This all keeps people going – team building can be surprisingly hungry work.

Take advantage of the wonderful outdoors this Autumn by booking an event for your team. Give us a call and one of our friendly team will guide you through the options.
