Children duck herding

Corporate family fun days are a very effective way of rewarding employees and their families. They give the families of employees a chance to meet the company where their family member works in a positive environment.

A large field at a hotel or country house will be hired for the day and activities and catering arranged. Usually the catering is a high end barbecue and marquees and event dressing are set up. Activities can range from a full fun fair to a selection of activities such as laser clays, archery and driving activities.

In the picture a group of children take part in duck herding. This is something they may have seen at a country show but having it at a private events means they can really get involved.

There are excellent locations for this sort of event around the country and we also have large spaces in major cities available.

Engaging your employees in settings outside of the office is a great way to foster esprit des corps.

That is a good thing, I remember having events like that when I was working in the corporate world, it did add a personal dimension :)

I’ve been with my employee only 9 months but they have frequent family events. It’s one of the reasons why I LOVE working there! Thanks for the post!

If the business can afford to invest in a family day out – ie work day/costs – for sure it can be a great investment – a perk of the job, bringing the team together…all important in todays office environment. Unfortunately 2011/2012 business costs have had to be cut – things like this are the 1st to go……

We certainly see that approach. Even in tough times there are businesses which are winning, so we do find that our customers are made up of successful businesses. Team building is know to increase productivity and so, if a company is failing and the atmosphere isn’t pleasant then the opposite happens and they can go into a downward spiral. In our marketing we look for the winners.

This kind of events are very helpful for both company and as well as for employees. Because by organizing some family fun events for employees they can increase faith in their employees for their company. On other hand employees also get some freshness.
